Justin Bruns is Associate Concertmaster of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra which he joined in 2006 and Concertmaster of the Cabrillo Music Festival. He has also served as Concertmaster for the Boulder Bach Festival, Arizona MusicFest, Lakes Area, and Bellingham Music Festivals. Additional guest appearances in that position were with orchestras in Indianapolis, Kansas City, Louisville, Memphis, Hong Kong, and São Paulo, and IRIS and River Oaks Chamber Orchestras. 

As a chamber musician, he has performed at music festivals in the Black Hills, Lake Tahoe, Savannah, San Miguel de Allende, Durango (CO), and at Carnegie Hall. He has premiered chamber works by a dozen living composers.

Bruns began studies at age three, made his solo debut with an orchestra at age nine, and has soloed on four continents since then. He has recorded with Pearl Jam, Faith Hill, and Bruce Springsteen. Bruns earned degrees from University of Michigan and Rice University.
